Urgent Care by Lifetime Health provides medical care at a time set aside for you. We see patients on a same day appointment basis so you won’t be asked to wait for an unknown length of time. We also see patients who prefer to walk in for same day care. For most patients, a visit to Urgent Care costs less than an emergency room visit. So all around, it’s a smart alternative.

Proven, effective care by experienced staff.

Our board-certified or board-eligible physicians, experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners treat more than 30,000 patients a year for minor illnesses and injuries. Since the service began in 1998, more than a quarter of a million patients have been seen in the Rochester and Buffalo regions. Urgent Care by Lifetime Health is certified by the Urgent Care Association of America.

Satisfied patients.

A recent survey revealed that 96% of patients treated by Urgent Care were very satisfied or satisfied with the overall care they received.

"The staff were extraordinary and I received excellent care."

"It was amazing, I was very impressed."

"Everyone was nice and caring—it was a great experience with so many caring people."

"I was very pleased with the whole experience."

Tests and treatments all in one place.

Urgent Care is equipped to provide services such as x-rays, rapid strep tests, EKGs, IV fluids, nebulizer treatments and blood work.

Urgent Care is a lot like your doctor’s office.

Each of our three Urgent Care locations offers a secure, convenient and private setting, just like your primary care physician’s office. The service is open to everyone, you do not need to have a primary care physician with Lifetime Health to use Urgent Care.

Your personal physician manages your care – Urgent Care is there to help.

Urgent Care works with your primary care physician and is designed to support, not replace your personal doctor’s professional medical services during evenings and weekends. We send a report to your primary care physician, giving details about your visit and treatment, the same day of your visit to Urgent Care.

We’ve got you covered at Urgent Care.

Urgent Care is open seven days a week:

Monday through Friday, afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends and holidays.

We accept all major insurances, including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, MVP Health Care (formerly Preferred Care), Child Health Plus, Medicaid and Medicare. Cost of visit is subject to the individual’s co-pay/fee/deductible requirements. Coverage may vary for other commercial plans. All copays are due at the time of visit. Please check with your insurance plan for any additional fees associated with an urgent care visit.
