![]() We pride ourselves on treating each patient individually. This is why we book 30 minutes per appointment to accommodate special needs and concerns. Radiologists are on site for more timely feedback to patients and our geographic reach makes us a convenient choice no matter where you live. MammographyOur mammography equipment was developed solely for imaging breast tissue and uses very low levels of radiation. Each center uses Computer Aided Detection (CAD) to analyze mammograms. This FDA-approved equipment is proven to increase the accuracy of mammograms, helping to find cancer at an earlier stage. Our team of radiologists reviews test results with your primary care doctor or other specialists in a real time environment, so you get results faster. Mammography services are available at Amherst, Mosher, West Seneca and Hamburg centers. X-rayChest, extremity, spine, abdomen and most other general x-ray procedures are available at every health center. UltrasoundUltrasound technology uses sound waves to produce images for the diagnosis of many diseases and disorders. Ultrasound images are produced by reflecting sound waves from organs and tissue in the body. The procedure is painless and does not use radiation. Vascular ultrasound and Carotid Doppler exams of the arteries in the neck, as well as Venous Doppler exams of the lower extremity are also available. Bone Density (DEXA Scan)A DEXA Scan measures the amount of bone density and is the best way to detect osteoporosis, a gradual thinning and weakening of bones. The bone densitometer uses small amounts of x-ray to measure the amount of bone mineral. The test is painless and takes just minutes. The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology recommends that every woman over age 40 have a baseline bone densitometry exam. FluoroscopyUpper GI, Lower GI (barium enema), esophagrams, hysterosalpingograms and other fluoroscopic exams are performed at the Amherst, Mosher and West Seneca centers. We're proud to offer the latest technology and employ skilled clinicians to obtain and interpret images. Our commitment to quality means you and your physician will get the answers and peace of mind you expect. Stop into one of our convenient locations or call to set up your appointment today!
