Prescription Refills by Phone

The pharmacy Interactive Voice Response (IVR) will allow you to order refills over the telephone. Call your Lifetime Health Medical Group Pharmacy number (listed below) and use your touch-tone phone to complete the process of requesting a refill of an existing prescription. It is fully automated and is designed to offer convenience and time-savings to you.

Get Started

To start using the 24-Hour Automated system, call 716/857-4643. You will need to have the Rx number for each of your prescriptions available. The Rx number can be found on the label of your prescription bottle (see image to right for highlighted Rx number). The prescription must have a valid refill.

How do I sign up for this service?

To start using the 24-Hour Automated system, call your usual Lifetime Health Pharmacy. You will need to have the Rx number for each of your prescriptions available. The Rx number can be found on the label of your prescription bottle (see image to right for highlighted Rx number). It's easy!

What information do I need when I call?

The information you need is on the label of your prescription. All you will need is your prescription Rx number (highlighted in the image to the right) to start the process.

How do I get my prescription after ordering by phone?

During the ordering process, you may select to pick-up your medication from a Lifetime Health pharmacy during the next business day or you may select mail delivery to your home address.

How long after ordering until my refill arrives by mail?

In most cases, we will have your prescription in the mail within 24 hours. Deliveries will be handled by the U.S. Postal Service first class mail.

Is there any cost associated with mail deliveries?

There is no cost for delivery. Deliveries will be handled by the U.S. Postal Service first class mail. In the event that the total cost of the prescriptions being mailed is more than $300.00, these prescriptions will be sent to you by certified mail.

Do you mail controlled drugs?

No we do not, however we will deliver the prescription by courier service for a fee.

Can I have a new prescription or a renewal filled by phone?

No. The automated phone system described here is meant to be used with existing prescriptions. If your physician has given you a new prescription, please stop by your Lifetime Health pharmacy or have your physician's office phone the prescription in to one of our pharmacies.
